The lamp is hand made from a stone-like material. Each piece is a one-off. This lamp is hand painted by artist Juraj Hubinsky. The light bulb is made from porcelain. It dims to a very low light making it ideal for a night lamp but can go up to 680 lumens, enough for reading a nice book. The dimming is flicker-free.

Dimmable Light Bulb
The bulb is as much a part of the design as the base. Its matte white glass finish gives it a quiet, considered look — and the light it produces matches that feeling.
Dim it down and it shifts warmer, the way a good candle does, flicker-free all the way to zero. LED efficiency underneath, no compromises on atmosphere.
Sustainable Materials
We chose Jesmonite for the base — a water-based composite, free of the harsh resins and solvents common in similar materials.
The cable comes from Italy, and most of what goes into a Nuuk lamp is sourced from within Europe. Fewer corners cut, fewer miles travelled.
Handmade in Bratislava
Our lamps are made by hand in Bratislava, Slovakia — first just by us (Viky & Ondrej), and now with a small team we're proud of.
Before we made a single lamp for anyone else, we spent a year getting it right: testing materials we genuinely felt good about, and chasing a quality of light we actually wanted to live with.
We launched in 2022, and the goal has stayed the same — bring a little light and calm into your home.
